| Venue: |
Manly Scenic Walkway from Spit Bridge to Manly The start is located at Ellery's Punt Reserve, the park on the north-eastern side of Spit Bridge and just south of Avona Crescent, Seaforth. |
| Details: |
Experience one of Sydney’s most beautiful walks – a 10 km walk from Spit Bridge to Manly. Take in bushland, beaches, parks and stunning harbour views – enjoy the walk, exercise, fundraise, celebrate our local community and help make a difference in the lives of mothers and babies in Manado at the same time.
Now in its fifth year, the Walk has raised over $76,000 with over 740 uniting to take local action against the global issue of poverty.
This year, Manly-Manado is supporting its holistic child development partner in Manado, Compassion. We are aiming to raise over $20,000 for mothers and babies in Compassion’s Child Survival Programme (CSP) in Manado.
It promises to be a fun day for young and old alike. There will be plenty of refreshments along the way with a sausage sizzle and kids activities at the finish.
Dog lovers and people with limited mobility, young children, or prams etc., please download the pdf entitled “Alternate Route Details" to find out how you can still take part in The Walk. |
| Cost: |
Registration is free but each walker should aim to raise $100 each |
